I'm also fairly sure you can't trade with neutral nations, but Blocks will have to weigh in on this one. No you can not trade with neutral nations. Everyone speaks the same language, we're aware of each other, and we're aware of America. Yep, this isn't realistic, but it has a lot of other realistic points, like bank systems. Why can't I trade with neutral countries? Say I burn a neutral countries supply of food. Would they still survive magically after a year? no, they'd die, but according to your game logic they'd be A-okay.It's called no one but you cares so shush and just go with it.

The Royal Generals have formulated new plans in expanding Spanish control over Western Europe, after the defeat of the French they plan into attacking the Italian cities. This way their pilgrims will have a safe route into the holy city of Rome. Not much can be done until the defeat of the French, and the Germans are still slow into entering the Parisian outskirts. Nevertheless, plans are set for the Invasion of Italy and the Invasion of Northern Africa, with Morocco being the first in the list. The invasion on Northern Italy is inevitable and the soldiers there cannot be called back in time. We shall give, Your Majesty the Kaiser, time to gather your forces to aid us in entering Italy. What's happened? (RETROACTIVE): -Population at 1,500,000-America discovered, with slow conquest of Mexico-Shipments to Sweden ceased due to unrest-Shit-tons of coal and iron lying around-Development of proper military equipment (Iron)-Settlement on the Canary Islands-Outpost in MexicoWhat's underway (ACTIVE):-Training of 200,000 men, with 60,000 within the first year battle ready. 3 years until total completion.-Production and deployment of the military equipment for said men, similar time to complete.-Conversion of Mexico: 5% Further conversion delayed for 1 year.-Initial planning of converting Mauritania, West Africa. Conversion delayed for 3 years.-Allyship extended towards GERMAN EMPIRE, with calls for talk to EVERYONE ELSE IN THE EU REGION.
Dan went on a bender again last night and has missed a bit. This time though he had some administrators keep things smoothly running, so he calms his hangover with more beer while he reads over his country's wellbeing:-The Census done 3 years ago (Supposed to be Page 13) gave better population growths than initially expected. Population has since risen to 1.5 million. Ah, Catholicism...-Shipments were maintained to Sweden with no ill-effects, though the recent tensions between Sweden, God, his lawyers and financiers have led to the shipments being stopped until it eases off. Nothing has been heard from The empires of England, Spain, or Ethiopia and so Dan tries a new tack. A shit ton of messengers sent to the rising German Empire, offering allyship. It makes perfect sense right? Two countries who make excellent beers.-St Brendan finally reached America, though it seems some others already got there. Rather miffed at this, he decided to go south and ended up in Mexico, and sent for assistance in acquiring these fertile lands. The admins had obliged, and so the army for the last 3 years has been trying to conquer Mexico with St. Brendan spreading Catholicism. Progress has been slow, given the lack of a proper army, so there's only a small outpost. Dan intends to change that.-The mining has been going swimmingly, and due to the lack of men to fill the armour the resource have been hoarded. Research into the properties and weaknesses of Iron have been carried out since, and so iron armour has developed to be chain linked and provide better protection, as well as improved, sharper weapons.-The few men on St. Brendan's Island have grown a bit since their arrival, now with a small settlement founded there. The supply requests weren't answered by Spain and so admins pushed through supply ships carefully, taking a wide berth around Spain. Dan considers have a gander around the larger land mass to the East...-Ireland needs a proper army to start spreading and making itself known, and a bigger one. A heavy recruitment drive is put through, with expected turnouts to produce 200,000 men capable of battle in 3 years, with 60,000 ready within the first year to bolster the home country.-To help this growing army, much of the Iron and Coal mined will be drawn into the production of armour and weaponry. This will also take around 3 years.QuoteWhat's happened?
