You haven't announced any specific recruitment or training measures.

I don't want to be KO'd by a nutcase Swede. The Crown Bank offers 1,000,000 groat loan and 500 seasoned smiths to build up German fortifications over the next five years. The loan is to have a 2pc yearly rate of interest, and can be paid back at Germany's convenience.

Sweden goes back to selling iron and trading normally with all countries again now that I'm not responsible for that large amount of troops.
Germany gladly accepts and thanks England.

We retain the 20pc of our barley and oats which were being shipped to you. Sweden suffers malnutrition, concentrated in the North of the country, and economic output declines somewhat.
lol what? You weren't my main trading partner.I have the baltic sea, and I'm trading with all of the countries (lithuania, Estonia etc) as well as Ireland and Africa.
Mongolia announces a luxury tax on all Chinese natives. Any unnecessary and frivolous valuable, unless it has doubtless sentimental value, belongs to the state. Emperor's Police operatives in China, along with 2,000 other soldiers, begin enforcing this law.

I'm also fairly sure you can't trade with neutral nations, but Blocks will have to weigh in on this one.

Would they still survive magically after a year? no, they'd die, but according to your game logic they'd be A-okay.

Everyone speaks the same language, we're aware of each other, and we're aware of America. Yep, this isn't realistic, but it has a lot of other realistic points, like bank systems. Why can't I trade with neutral countries? Say I burn a neutral countries supply of food. Would they still survive magically after a year? no, they'd die, but according to your game logic they'd be A-okay.
Since trading with non-neutral nations is disallowed, the adverse effects of cancelled English trade still hold on Sweden. The population suffers malnutrition and economic output declines moderately. Further actions will be subject to longer waiting times.
I've already told Norway, Denmark, and Finland to focus on the agriculture.

The point is that trading is a game mechanic with influences the well-being of your nation. It would be beyond retarded to allow trade with non-player countries.
and according to history those neutral countries have been trading.
