Kevlar can witshstand saw blades and other sharp objects similar to that. why the fuck do you think they have Kevlar gloves for woodsmen and jobs in that particular field ? And by "virtually impenetrable" I mean by the standards of the time period not modern day's standards. we don't have bullets sooo why the fuck does it matter, and just because it can cause a bruise doesn't mean it can penetrate it. Not to mention I did my research with the fibers, what the fuck else do you think "research with experimental fibers" means?
Wait... isn't a synthetic fiber dependent on the ability to manufacture polymers with ridiculously concentrated sulfuric acid in a sterile lab environment that can't even be hand spun afterwords a little... ahead of our time here?

The whole point is that anything with a continuous driving force behind it (such as a stab) can tear through the fiber with practically no effort, but something that has a fixed driving force (such as a bullet) has a harder time doing it. But it's still possible. And yeah, we do have guns and bullets now. Where have you been?
*sigh* fine. then what the fuck do I change the research to?
we will manage. not that hard to make fur clothing. we will probably be living in the ships for a bit till we kill some bears
we use spawn eggs. duh.but on a more serious note. japan will find a way.japan is going AFK for the night

Their training consists primarily of stealth, subterfuge, and coercion.Shòuyī Bái is now forty in number. All agents are given carbon steel MK2 revolvers and katanas. Five agents are sent into Mongolia to ensure that another rebellion isn't being planned. Ten are assigned to serve as the Emperor's elite guard. Two agents are sent into Japan.
