TMW thread is locked so reply is deleted

There's really nothing that could have been done to keep Deci from leaving.

Desticle made a thread with a photoshopped picture about Deci and it was locked. Desticle got a warning. Deci, seeing that the thread was locked, continued the conversation by making a thread replying to Desticle.

I locked the thread and warned him too. He had excuses, yes, and maybe it wasn't fair that he didn't get to "defend himself" but I don't allow shit slinging around here and we all know what that would have turned into had I not stepped in.

Deci got pissed after I gave him the warning and presented his argument. I declined to remove the warning.

The site went down for a few hours. If you were around late at night or early in the morning you might have witnessed it. Nuka made a thread because he wasn't kicked off for some reason like the rest of us. After the lights came back on, apparently some kind of malfunction occurred on Deci's forum and he thought he banned himself.

He blamed it on me and went off raving that I had set him up and secretly hated him. I wasn't involved and had no control over Sep7agon's downtime. I locked Nuka's thread, cleaned it up, and unlocked it. By that time, Deci had quit the forums again and said goodbye to me via PM.

I do admit...I did change Deci's rank for a few hours during the least-active period of the forums. It was late and I just did it, like I pulled the pranks with numerous other users here. I don't disagree that it was stupid, given Deci's history of taking things like that personally. I removed the rank and set things back to normal before 95% of the forum even had a clue (in fact, most of you thought I had changed his name because of Blazed Iron's poll).

What came next I can't be sure, because I wasn't around, but Deci found out about Blazed Iron's poll and came back, changing his name and creating the spam posts I'm sure some of you saw.

I've been talking with Camnator via PM about recent events, but I'm not as familiar with that situation... Anyway, that's what happened.

I think I already made it clear that he's done this time and time again. It's past the point where people can take any of his returns seriously anymore.

I thought I made it clear already that shit isn't so simple as him choosing to go through a cycle of losing his shit. There are reasons for why this keeps happening, while it might be nice to think that it's just Deci being Deci, the seeming is reality that he has a short temper, certain things more easily set him off, and people feel it is fun to try to add fuel for the fire instead of keeping their mouths shut or being kind to the guy like a decent human being.

Yeah, I didn't start anything. He did jump into a few threads in Serious though and jumped down my throat for things I wasn't asking his opinion in. We actually used to get along but he turned sour after that.

Not that I really cared, but he repeatedly used it as an excuse to randomly insult me.

Alright, first lets address the random thing at the end there. Camnator is not random, he is quite understandable. If you act in a manner that doesn't seem polite to him, he will not respond to you politely. If you insinuate something insulting, then he will gladly insult you right back. From what I've seen today at least, you were not acting polite towards the dude, so he hit your shit, hard. Maybe you didn't mean to, I don't know, but clearly he didn't take it as you being nice.

From what Deci told me they actually only started speaking personally recently. Camnator sided with Deci when Deci exploded that one time about Felicia. A little bit in Anarchy and a little bit on the Flood. That's where his "revenge fagging" and infamous copy pasta came from.

Everyone though Deci was being insane and Camnator sided with Deci because of that whole booty obsession thing. After that I guess they started talking and became friends. Deci said they were able to relate  a lot.

I remember it mentioned in Anarchy from at least more than a month ago that Deci said he'd been talking with Camnator.

Maybe it was because Camnator doesn't crap on people unless they crap on him, and Deci had no reason to hate Camnator, so they became friends?

I don't know the full details but the only reason they became friends, again, is because Camnator was the only person that blindly defended Deci when he had the Felicia meltdown. Camnator said that his posting of her pictures was justified when it really wasn't (or something like that).

For now though, I think things can either work out a little bit more, or if Deci decides he doesn't want to return, then we can continue recognizing there are better ways to deal with certain users to avoid any future versions of a similar problem from happening.

That's kind of why I just stopped paying attention to his responses. He decided to attack Sandtrap's thread on Bungie though, and that's where I actually became pissed off at him since him and Dustin got the thread shut down and Sandtrap, Quiet and Rocketman banned as a result.

I'm not going to accept, "it's the Flood" as an answer for someone being treated poorly. I've been here plenty long enough to see the community come together to be supportive of people and help them through various difficult times, just like your own, and I intend full well to see that it continues and helps anyone who needs it. Whether you like it or not Nuka, we're all here to help each other, you're a recipient and I know that Deci has been harsh on you, but that doesn't change that he needs support now and that he's still upset he screwed up his friendship with you.
