Normally a stench. He just used it to sound cool, I guess.I've never heard it used that way, and I believe you recently said that words mean whatever people generally understand them to mean.Wasn't that you, saying the definition doesn't really matter as long as your point is clear? The fuck?

The word is generally understood to mean "an unpleasant smell," so if you wanted to use the word in a way that deviates heavily from that definition, you'd have to make that clear. Otherwise, no one's going to know what you mean. That's what I said. While dictionary definitions aren't gospel truth, they're still pretty decent guidelines. Which is what they're meant to be.Quote from: Solonoid on March 23, 2016, 01:09:34 AMI'm catching Verbatim contradicting himself, nothing to see here.I never contradicted myself. I caught you misinterpreting basic logic, as usual.Actually, the oxford dictionary defines it not as a literal smell, but as a figurative atmosphere, so a sexual miasma seems completely plausible, if you forgo the modifier unpleasant. The example used is a "miasma of despair"So I think to say that the guitar creates a sexual miasma is definitely within your "dictionary isn't fact, but you still have to pretty much do almost what it says"From there, making the leap from it creating a sexual miasma to literally being that wave of hot sweaty sex washing over you , isn't a huge stretch.Sorry that I didn't make it unpleasant enough for you.
Guitar thread? Guitar thread.
That's my second favorite kind of design on a guitar. What brand?

That's pretty dope. My is pretty much the poor man's Fender Stratocaster, which still is one technically, but a beginner and cheaper version called the Starcaster Strat.Don't think Fender makes these anymore.

Ye fam, Strats are amazing. I think they might still be producing Starcasters, but then again, maybe the wiki page is just out of date. I'd love to make a custom one when I can afford to, in Blue Sunburst with a Les Paul body and an SG headstock.

Could have a lot of money on your hands with the guitar, that is if you no longer play.Otherwise hold onto it. That guitar is quality compared to mine. I mean mine is good too but mine is essentially the cheap version of the Fender Stratocaster which is a thousand dollar guitar.
Yo deci, the starcasters were made pretty solidly, surprisingly so. Drop some hot pups in it and you wont know the difference between that and a mim strat.

I just prefer more USA made products, and the Stratocaster itself is actually made here in Corona California. Not very far from where I live.
