They're remaking Stephen King's "IT"

This time as an actual movie instead of a tv miniseries. Looks like it's staying true to the novel as well. Neat!

I'm not one for horror movies at all, but I'll have to see this one.

There's too much to cover for it to be a true adaptation of the book. They would need 3 hours for a montage of Derry's bloody history alone. That book is THICK. It will have to focus on just the Losers Club. Plus the stuff tying it to the Turtle of King's other books and Shelob of LotR?

It may be good, but they can't be faithful.

...unless they're doing a joined Stephen King universe and it ties into the Dark Tower...

I read they're making two movies. One for each time period it seems. This is 50s, next one is 80s.
