I don't think it's malware. I haven't exactly been to any suspicious or malicious sites recently. And I haven't really been downloading shit either.

Yeah, well, scan for it anyway. My grandmother told me the same thing, but it turned out she was running a screen-capture spyware program for months. You can't be too careful.

Bad RAM or bad mobo. My computer has been weird, it blue screened once because of how unstable my RAM is on my motherboard. Anything above 1333mhz is unstable. The motherboard sucks ass.

I don't think this is a software issue. Sounds more like a hardware issue. See if you can run Windows Diagnostic and find out what could be what.

I have a few hardware issues myself with this machine and yet somehow it's finally stable.

I am by no means a computer expert, but I did run a few scans with Malwarebytes and Avast and nothing came up. I think it's probably a piece of faulty hardware.

Is it well ventilated? It honestly sounds like it's shutting down to prevent it. Counter intuitive I know with the fans shutting down, but it also could be linked to perhaps clogged/dusty air vents if it's been around a while, and the fans couldn't keep up with the cooling so it shuts down to protect itself.

Try disconnecting the GPU and plugging the video cable into your mobo, that way you can see if the GPU is the problem. I don't really know how to diagnose other hardware problems, but I'm sure Google will give you the answer.

I hope you can find what's causing the error.
