That's kind of the point. Both are important and it's stupid to put down either. Unfortunately most engineering students are little shits that fail to comprehend that they're just one small part in a much greater machine. Without the rest they're essentially worthless.

Oh yeah, I know quite a few moronic engineer students. In my experience, they'll try to put down anyone they can while they're struggling to keep decent grades in their first year classes.
