The big question this season (Walking Dead comic and show spoilers)

So far this season the show has started following the comics more closely, and with that, the group is getting close to the next big plot line, the saviors. That means Negan, one of the most hated but well made antagonists in the whole of walking dead. In case you don't know who Negan is and you only watch the show he makes the Gov look like a flower child, he is one fucked up sadistic guy.

From issue #100 when you first see Negan he kills one of the main characters, Glenn who has been there from the very first episode of the walking dead. I say episode because I will only be talking about the show from here.

People are all asking if it will really happen, if Glenn will be killed off, though it would make TV gold it would be the most heartbreaking death in the whole series and only prolonged because of Maggie (Glenn's bae). Maggie literally lost everyone else she cared for after the prison, her dad being beheaded by the Gov, and her sister getting shot in the head. Glenn is the last person she can call family, would they really kill him off with that?

Then of course there is the fact that fans would go crazy, almost as crazy as if Daryl dieded. With this I think something different will happen. Instead of killing Glenn Negan will get his crew to kidnap Glenn, put him in a cab, and make him live with his uncle and aunt in Bel Air.

I don't really enjoy the show as much as I do the books and the games. Only got to the end of Season 3 before dying of boredem. That said, seeing how it's a super popular show. I would love if they just kept playing with the fact Glenn should die. Like have multiple situations where Glenn survives certain death or make it seem as though he died at the end of an episode. That would be hilarious.

At this point we're only on about Issue 67. Glenn's death is Issue 100, and considering it took 4 Seasons to reach Issue 48 I don't think we'll be seeing Negan until about Season 7 or 8. We still have a couple more storylines to get through, like settling into the Safe Zone, the Scavengers, and the whole No Way Out storyline. Negan can wait until like the Season 6 finale.

It took so long to get as far as it has because the shows pacing is all over the fucking place and it's filled with so much fluff.

Seasons 2 and 3 fucked everything up so Seasons 4 and 5 have had to clean up their mess while trying to get further with the comic storyline.

They've had a lot of foreshadowing this season. In the first episode someone goes to swing a bat at Glenn's head only to be told not to. And then there are other instances with Glenn picking up baseball bats and shit like that.

Season 4A was, I thought Season 4B was excellent.

Seriously, what actually happened in S2 besides Carl getting shot and the farm getting swamped by walkers? Literally filler the season, which is saying a lot considering how much fucking filler is in the show.
