In my uni course, there's some autistic guy who's like 29 and he has this woman helping him out, she's nice enough.

So today he was talking really loudly about the new Star Wars film, spoilers all around. I've already seen it and so have most people, probably, but me being the upstanding citizen that I am, tell him that not everybody may have seen it and he should keep it down.

He's like "Oh shit, sorry."
She says "My mistake."

Then he responds with "Just like your third marriage"

I don't know how she felt about that, but he just carried on.
"Yeah, you'll never go back there, you were brainwashed."

Then he goes on about how he might take her to see it again as a 'special treat'


So yeah. Fun times. Have you any funny or cringy stories with autists at your school?

I once convinced my entire Discrete Math class we has a test that day that none of us knew about. Worst part was, I had convinced myself too.

It was for the better though, otherwise I never would have taught myself how to do proof by induction.

In my econ class last semester there was this dude with a huge mole. Pretty sure he caught me staring at it more than once.

also there was this Honduran kid that asked almost all of the girls in my 9th grade class

he wasn't autistic or anything, just really weird

I once made a guy run in circles multiple times because I thought it was funny, I kept laughing. And laughing.
And laughing.

Smart kid, but always turned up to lessons  brumming and screeching, and "put the handbrake on" when he sat down.

I've already told this story, but in high school, I was in choir, and we had this ebulliently autistic kid in class. He would always say silly things during practice, and he was just the most bubbly kid you've ever seen. He had this really deep voice, too, but it was super monotone, and he didn't sing well at all, unfortunately. It sucked, because it fucked with my own singing if I stood too close to him, so I always tried to avoid standing too close to him during concerts.

Then one concert, the instructor basically had us all stand in set areas. It was the first time she'd ever done this, and it was to prevent us from chatting with our friends between songs and whatnot. So we had to stand next to people we hated, basically.

Naturally, by dumb luck, I had to stand next to this autistic kid. And you know, whatever--I didn't make a big deal out of it. I brought up to the instructor that his voice screws with my singing, because he just can't sing very well, but she basically just told me to get over it.

The concert game, aaaand the kid spent the entire time being a little fucker. Between songs, he would just turn around and blow, as hard as he could, directly into my face. I let it slide the first two times. The third time, I turned around and sharply whispered for him to "Stop that." Instantly, he got really scared, and he ran up to the top of the banister away from me.

I felt very bad, but like I said, he was being a fucker, so...
