Get of my lawn
I was watching a thing on martial arts tonight. The reason why boxers and martial artists can hit so hard is that over time their training caused little micro fractures in the bones of their body, making their bones more dense with scar tissue. Our muscles grow the same way. By repeatedly stressing our muscles, we grow more muscles. Before you yeah yeah me, think about what a marvel this is. By surviving stressful environments, our bodies adapt to them. We grow more resilient the more we survive.

Now think about how we live in developed countries. We do everything to pad our lives and live in comfort. Are we denying what we evolved to be?

Evolution is making things more convenient for us while further advancing in technology. It's always been like that. For example back in ancient days we had to hunt for food. Then we had animal husbandry.

Before we had to drag things around and it was an effort. Then we invented the wheel.

We're still evolving, but maybe not in as basic a way as you're thinking. Though modern medicine might disagree with that.

The only microfractures you ought to get is on your shins, but I do admit that tiger style Kung Fu where you sharpen your fingers to the point where you can rip out a person's throat is a legit "evolution".

I'm talking about our biology. We're evolved for adversity. Tool use is great but it's not improving our body. This is one thing DBZ got very right. By going beyond our limits we become more capable to go further. It's fascinating when you think about it.

But Charlie, if you don't want to fight people, and you just want to live a peaceful life, then there's no reason to get stronger. What are you gonna do with that strength?

That's where you're wrong

They are both different sides of the same coin, and Conor is a Southpaw. They both use distance fooling on their opponent, and mostly deal in counters.

Shut the fuck up

Normies only care about hits, because that's all they understand.

"Oh he got hit, that means the other guy did a good" is all that you understand

You don't want a guy thinking strategically and fighting smart? Go see early MMA

This was the real man's sport
YouTube

These guys were all in on their own style, so fights were mostly in one person's favour all of the time

It's crazy to see how far UFC has come all these years and TIL that Vince McMahon was thinking of buying the UFC in 2001 but the idiot decided to waste money on creating the XFL instead. At least he still got WCW and ECW.

Maybe the average joe. Martial artists and boxers are capable of achieving these things because of modern advancements.

Just because the human body is capable of bench pressing 1,000 lbs doesn't mean it ever would have been possible without modern dieting and exercising techniques.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Congratulations, you now know why natural selection applies to humans and domesticated pets/livestock differently than it does wild animals and therefore we should educate on and encourage voluntary eugenics and genetic health programs to society at large.

Humans evolve by changing the world around them instead of themselves.

Tool use is great but it's not improving our body.

Callous makes it easier to slide and bend the strings, but playing better comes with lots of practice.

but

you can't just

go and

do that

like

how can you possibly consider

the voluntary improvement of the human species through selectively breeding with non-thots
