Evolution is making things more convenient for us while further advancing in technology. It's always been like that. For example back in ancient days we had to hunt for food. Then we had animal husbandry.Before we had to drag things around and it was an effort. Then we invented the wheel.We're still evolving, but maybe not in as basic a way as you're thinking. Though modern medicine might disagree with that.
