We're done.

I've told her that I hate the idea that she is going to see him. That it hurt, and if we planned to try to work on things, this would hurt it.

She simply said its over and done.

We will stay together long enough for the adoption to be final. The next day we file our divorce.

We've agreed to go by whatever a child custody coach recommends for us. Unfortunately that could mean I end up a Disneyland dad, or I'm the one with full custody. It could go either way. He's a psychologist who will make a plan based on what is best for the kids' well being.

I am at a low point. She took what should have been a happy time and ruined it.

I'm sorry to hear that this didn't work out for you. However this also gives you the opportunity to seek someone who is as committed to you as you are to them and I know you'll be a great dad to Nicolas and Alex.

If you ever want to blow off some steam when you get home I'm sure there's a bunch of people on here that would love to play vidya with you.

As far as that is concerned, you can get a divorce and be free from that.

You could possibly mend the relationship if you tried, but the chances are slim.
Also slim are the chances you'd ever trust her again.

She shouldn't have any custody. She cheated on him, and she just abandoned him again to meet up with the other dude, presumably to have sex.

She shouldn't have any type of custody. That's why I said I hope he gets full custody.
And that's not going to happen, she's still going to get custody unfortunately. This is the U.S after all.
