Women in the US armed forces, in order to qualify for combat roles (available this year) must match the caliber of their male counterparts in every way.

I was saying there are plenty of women who can, and who are already serving in the armed forces.
Not that only some of them serving combat positions could handle it.

I remember reading in several places they lower the bar for them to pass. Not to mention the psychological effects women on the frontline has. They can't carry a wounded male soldier and their gear.

And all bars were raised to equal male levels last year, in all branches of the US armed forces (source: I attemted tp enlist last year and had plenty of female counterparts, though I was turned away due to some missing documentation that I was unable to provide, during the time I at the recruiting offices until my final papers were drafted, I still did observe female PT and tests, and can say they were put through the same ordeals as us).

And that sentence is perfectly sound grammatically, though I suppose the fact you couldn't hear the placement of emphases contributes to your failure to understand it, though I'm going to continue to blame you being brown.
