A myth? Sounds like you want someone you can call your lover.

But I'm not gonna argue about stuff I have no experience with. Sure I've had two crushes, and one even reciprocated the feeling and shit was quirky etc, but having a crush and loving someone is very different. It sucks that you've never had a crush, but having a crush is just falling in love with someone before knowing you don't have anything to talk about. I imagine loving someone is like having a crush on someone, but instead of the feeling going away and not having anything in common, loving someone is like having a crush that keeps coming back because you keep finding reasons to like your partner
