Just go to People and you can snoop on the entire forum, whether people are posting, liking, looking or PMing (That'd be Kiyo right now)

So, anyone else found little things like this in the forum/tapatalk?

A lot of forums have that feature actually.

If you're on PC just click the link that says how many users are online.
