I may give this a try, considering how much Lucas fucked up with the unnecessary changes in the original trilogy. Call us nerds, but after the shit treatment that Halo CE got from 343, I can kinda understand where old Star Wars fans are coming from here.

Anyway, this isn't legal to do at all so do this at your own risk if you want the original movies the way they originally were in 1977, 1980, and 1983 except in HD.

Think of this as for example Halo CE just running in 60FPS with no bullshit changes.

Okay that's enough Halo referencing. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the remastering of the original trilogy was stupid or do you think us old farts are stupid for having a despecialized edition exist in the first place because we don't like the unnecessary changes that for us ruins the story? Discuss.

The HD and touch ups are great, extra background shit are alright, and that fucking singing scene was terrible

But the only good reason to watch it in orginal version is for sentimental value

To be fair, it was kind of shitty. Mostly because you can tell a lot of it was lazily made.

It's a good "remaster" besides some of the hit boxes of of geometry not matching up with the new graphics, Cortana's rubbish facial animation, and Chief's tiny hands cutscene error.

Plus the terminals were good.

There are some areas that you can tell are just really lazily done, but there are some areas (specifically, the stuff they showed in the trailers) that are quite nice. It was lazy texturing, that's all. And the fact that I can try to be sniping and hit some invisible wall because the geometry is all different.

Reach and CEA look the same.
They both have shiity and lazy looking textures in multiple areas, but really nice looking stuff too.
