As a side note, I prefer hanging out with girls platonically a lot more than I like hanging out with guys. When I watch serious TV (not Family Guy or whatever) with my guy friends, all they pay attention to is which girl is the hottest and the scenes that are straight up action. They can't focus on the important pieces of dialogue or subtle character interactions if their life depended on it. Girls can actually focus on shows and not act braindead the entire time.

There's some old fucks I've talked to around here that were like that when they were younger. Just enjoyed the company of women over straight up sex. Naturally they had lots of company.

yea but there's also the opposite end of the spectrum. I know plenty of girls that watch shows like supernatural n shit purely for the slabs of meat that star in them.

Yeah, exactly. I just find that girls usually have more going on upstairs than men. This is obviously a generalization, but it holds true for me. And because of that increased intelligence, they're so much more interesting to talk to.

True that, in a national population of 350 million, you'd expect the grain to cut both ways holistically. But in the small-ish community I'm in, it's hard to find girls like that.

I'm the opposite. I've met 2 or 3 women in my life I'd consider intelligent. Whereas I've met at least a dozen intelligent men (most of which were 30+ but w/e.)

Maybe it's just because I'm young. I had a really intense discussion with a random girl today about philisophical pessimism -- and she did most of the talking. It was really refreshing to hear things like "the world/existence is shit" from someome other than myself.
