The post was in response to this one user who's extremely biased towards the Government. And this all happened within a wave of tons of extremely pro-Government users either leaving or being banned.

If you knew the context, you'd understand it better.

This was a major city (Idlib) that the Government held for 3 years. For the entire time, the citizens hated the Government, and then when the Rebels do come, the Government practically hands it to them after 4 days (which was shockingly short). The pictures that were shown in the OP of that thread showed that the city has been completely devastated by constant bombing attacks after only a week.

That's not all the context of what's going on, but I don't really wanna type out a wall of text without any reason to.

For the sole reason that the Government bombs the living fuck out of everything and everywhere that isn't under their control.

Unless that territory belongs to IS for some funny reason....
