It can be, depending on what you use to actually achieve that sort of physique. Like I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure all those steroids don't have a positive effect on your body. But if you're just using basic supplements and lifting for hypertrophy, no worries. Does plenty of good for your health and mind.

Unhealthy means not healthy, and if you are sensitive to stress, or have a weak skeletal structure, then you can harm yourself to varying degrees.
I think of steroids, 7% bodyfat, and cutting when I think of bodybuilding. Aesthetically pleasing isn't always healthy. Also required "Winy is ripped" post

And not to discredit the work that professional bodybuilders put into their bodies (And they work fucking hard), but a sizable chunk of what allows them to look the way they do is a lot of short-term preparation, like dehydration, body oils, spray-tans, and ideal lighting. It's not like if you just go up to any bodybuilder and rip their shirt off, they'll look nearly as defined as they do on the stage. Like I remember reading somewhere Channing Tatum said his "Magic Mike" body lasted, like, three days.

Are you autistic?
If I can ask nicely, please stop talking about me. Positive, negative, I don't really care. I just don't want to be the subject of this discussion.
