So are Revan and Malak part of official Star Wars canon?

I read a bunch of shit about Revan and Malak that was far more expanded then the KOTOR games. And I was wondering if that was all the shit that got axed, or if that was actual canon.

So, did they make it? IMO it's prob the best story in the Star Wars universe.

Revan was going to appear in the Mortis arc of The Clone Wars, so that would have solidified him as canon, but as of now, doesn't look like it since he was cut (Darth Bane was also supposed to appear with him, but he didn't and ended up being used later on)

It's so far back in the past that even if it still was canon, it still wouldn't change the current situations with what they're doing with stuff.

They made it non canon along with everything else to wipe the slate clean. They might bring it back in. Either way, canon or not it's so far in the past it doesn't matter, so don't get too upset.

It's an assumption to say that all characters and events associated with it are still canon.

Only things canon are movies, The Clone Wars, Rebels, and any content released after May of 2014. Bane was in The Clone Wars, so he's canon.
