I mean, I'm doing all right in college and all that, but even being in the military for just like two years gives you benefits throughout your whole life. I could probably get the rest of my college paid off, at the very least.

Three years active and five years  inactive ready reserve or IRR.(you're out for all intents and purposes, but if a troop surge is needed you can be recalled to active service) You can also opt in to an active drilling reserve or National Guard contract for the later five years instead.
