Was a lot like this in size and looks:



These aren't normally found in the UK, so I'm guessing it must have hitched a ride on fruit being transported here. Frightening. It was very aggressive and probably poisonous, so I captured it in a jar and let it go outside. Have you had any encounters with nasty bugs?
