I've moved so many times. It's a science; an art. I've perfected how to pack up an apartment and snugly load it into a U-haul van. I've moved probably a dozen times in my life, half of which in as many years.

The Kensington Marriott hotel is cool. Not too expensive but it's right in the middle of London so from there you'll be able to travel to any part you want. London has a great transport system.

Obviously no one wants to drive in central London it's a shitfest. Take trains and buses.

I'm heading to London for a few days on my winter break to FINALLY watch a few BPL games live and get a feel for the country. It'll be my second trip to Europe so I'm hyped.

Eh, it's mostly out of necessity. 3 of those times were for moving back and forth to college. Then I had 2 apartments with 6-month leases. Then 3 with 12-month leases

It's fun moving to a new place, but the process of moving sucks. It's a lot easier if you don't have...stuff. No decorations, no posters, no trinkets - just a bed, desk, tv, shelves/drawers

Not really. I lived in a shady neighborhood in Anaheim for a bit. Pretty sure our neighbors were typical Mexican drug dealers [like the ones you see in TV shows] but they were chill and asked us if we wanted to come to their BBQs and such.

The only shitty experiences are when you help a friend move, and when you show up they're like "ok, let's start packing!"

NOPE. If you've asked a friend to help you move, make sure you've boxed everything up already, and they're just helping you load up/unload the the truck.
