So I'm moving

This isn't the first time I have moved. But I have been at my current house since I was 2 years old, so I feel like I never did because I was far to young to care. From Miami, to Las Vegas, to Miami, to Ft. Lauderdale.

Now I'm moving, not permanently, for the remainder of my time before college (and if I decide to attend a University here I'll stay in this apartment). It feels weird, I don't even know what to take lol. My goal is to buy/take ownership of my parents home (as they are moving within the next few years). It isn't the most amazing house ever, nor in the greatest neighborhood, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. So it feels very strange leaving somewhere you've spent 16 years at. It's not that I'm happy about moving by myself, I'm stoked. The apartment is awesome, the complex is sweet. But it doesn't compare. It will never feel like home

What's some advice you guys can give me, and some of your personal experiences?

I've only ever moved house once too, when I was 2 years old too. I've lived in the house I'm in now for 16 years.

Born in San Diego, moved to Mexico when I was two, stayed there for some time, went back to San Diego . When I was 4-5 I moved to NC, then moved to Chicago for a year when I was 7, and came back, haven't moved since.

I lived alone at 16. My parents moved abroad but I didn't want to go so I moved out. It was great. my sister was at university and would only come back on weekends.

They moved back a couple months ago. But 2 years alone was great. Felt like a strong independent black women who don't need no man.

Perfect baby. Any nice apartments or hotels by there?

The Kensington Marriott hotel is cool. Not too expensive but it's right in the middle of London so from there you'll be able to travel to any part you want. London has a great transport system.

Obviously no one wants to drive in central London it's a shitfest. Take trains and buses.
