This discussion is nice and all but Cheat has yet to prohibit attention whore threads. You can request that the rules be changed but outright asking for that whole process to be skipped and having the threads be locked now is too much action against too many users for the satisfaction of a few others.

Even if half the board agreed with locking attention threads, it should still be made an official rule before any of them are actually locked. We can't just jump the gun here.
