not necessarily "catch phrases" but stuff that you say a lot
maybe even too much

"I'm just saying". I'm just saying, it's a pretty good way to placate people who are on your case over something, that's all. You don't have to get all hung up about it. Sometimes I use it to clarify a point that I made, too.

"Literally". I literally never use this word incorrectly, but I do use it too often, I think.

"Like". I'm, like, practically a valley girl when it comes to this word. Like, especially in chat rooms. Sometimes I think it, like, gets on people's nerves.

"At all". I don't understand why I use this term so much. At all. It makes me sound douche-y, which is useful, but sometimes I use it even when I'm not trying to sound douche-y.

"Or some shit". Sometimes extended to "or some shit like that," or some shit like that. I love taking advantage of the word "shit" with all its versatility.

And many more.

Ever notice how you just say the same shit sometimes? Who do you think influenced the way you speak? When you finish watching a movie, do you subconsciously start talking like the people in the movie for the rest of the night?

I definitely say some things a lot, but I can't just pick them out right now...

After reading a novel, of which I stick to fantasy, preferably high fantasy, I do find I think and speak a bit more eloquently.
