i don't mean to speak for her, but i've always known her to be a bit of a perfectionist, which probably comes from her being an artist

she would always share things she just drew in photoshop or whatever with us, and it always looked really really good, technique-wise and detail-wise, but she would always seem unsatisfied with it--which isn't an uncommon mindset people have when it comes to their art

i don't know if that necessarily translates to her appearance, but i just thought i'd throw that on the table

would you say that has anything to do with it, ruru, or am i just wrong

I'm close to challenger on this, but I part from his intention. I think that trying to look perfect is stupid, and that you should accept what you have, but who cares about my opinion? You're free to do as you please, and it feels unnatural to change people's opinions and such.

What do you think about the thought that you should accept what you have instead of trying to be perfect?

Yeah, like with a haircut. Some haircuts leave you dissatisfied, whereas other make you very happy with yourself since you look better.
