They don't give humanity any credit. Oh, it was hard? Must be aliens. Pyramids? That looked hard to make. No, it was aliens. We achieve greatness by overcoming adversity. This is a trait that we excel at attributing our feats to another force takes away our sense of greatness.

Seeing how most hard work today is also done by aliens, I do not see the problem here

"We didn't get our tech from our own engineering, we got it from aliens who showed us this shit thousands of years ago."  That type of statements is what really annoys me about those idiots. The problem with this statement is that since we didn't develop our own tech and buildings then neither should the aliens as well. It would be an never ending line of aliens showing aliens showing aliens showing aliens about how to make this tech and structures. Some where down the line someone had to come up with it first which means there's no reason at all why humans couldn't have come up with the things we did on our own.
