Saying suicide is selfish

Is in fact selfish. It’s saying I want you to endure the mental or physical pain that you are dealing with so I don’t have to have the pain of losing you.

I’m not advocating suicide. I am saying it’s a very complex issue that should be discussed in a mature manner and not with bumper sticker like concepts.

How do you think we should be discussing this issue?

nothing we say or do is completely selfless, i don't think it's particularly harmful to point out the inherent selfishness of suicide—even if it's also selfish to want to keep someone alive

Yeah, and murderers being judged is selfish 'cause you're just gonna punish them because they're bothering your ideals.
