This is a topic for another thread entirely but it's not as though there was really any choice regarding TCW's cancellation. Disney bought Lucasfilm, and TCW, which was on Cartoon Network, would have had to move networks. There would have been some legal issues in all likelihood) IIRC the Rebels team cannot use any TCW assets in the show; if they are using something that appeared in TCW they have to make a new 3D model).

There's also the fact that TCW's budget was supplied primarily by Lucas; he paid for most of the episodes out of pocket. That would have made the transition a little more rocky too; the decrease in budget would have been noticeable.

And in regards to "Disney hates the prequels so they cancelled it", even if that was why, remember that by 2013, when TCW was canceled, we were coming off of around 14 years of almost nothing but Prequel-era content. They had their time. At that point it was perfectly acceptable for Disney to return focus to the OT, especially since the EU had been swept away, and all non-film OT era content with it.

And yeah yeah I know I'm an OT fag but still, you can't blame people for wanting content surrounding their favorite era in Star Wars, especially after such a long stretch of primarily prequel era content.

Just got around to the infamous kiss episode. Sure, it was awkward, forced and out of nowhere, but I'm more upset that they ruined the ending card with that shitty song.

Maybe if you're autistic. Sexual chemistry started between Jack and Ashi literally on episode 4

I'm not sure episode 9 would have had the same weight without their romance, and the levity of episode 8 really helped drive home how dangerous it was for Jack to open up like that.

Fight scene was lit. also

I laughed out loud when Squidmouche appeared on screen. The music that played during that scene complemented it perfectly, I would buy the OST just for that jingle.

Oh thank god we're back to memes.

I'm not going to force myself to watch any more of this show for now. I'll stick around for the memes though.
