Just realized that the dude Rachel got all huffy about Crane sending to Arkham instead of prison, the moment where you start expect Crane is in Falcone's pocket, is Victor fucking Zsasz.

Fuck that dumb prison-profiteering DA cunt, Zsasz belongs in Arkham.
Dude is nearly as sadistic as the Joker himself.

Scarecrow did nothing wrong.

i never got to the bottom of which i like more, begins or TDKR

begins is boring as fuck and hard to sit through, but it's a competently made film
TDKR is a schlocky over-the-top shitshow and i hate it, but it's also unintentionally hilarious

Because Zsasz is just a generic mob guy in the movie who only puts tally marks on himself to appear insane, not a serial killer like in the comics.

Jacob Potila was actually a Jacob Flotilla of lies.- WarTurkey
Tbf the first time I watched Batman Begins I had no clue of any Batman lore or characters. I didn't even understand the twist that Liam Neeson was Ra's al Ghul. I thought his name was Meelee Ducard.

Batman suspects include: David Copperfield; Bigfoot; and Abraham Lincoln.

Fucking gold.

I love you, son.
TDKR was unnecessarily long. I don't know why they continued for two hours after the conclusion with a bunch of irrelevant stuff about Batman.

the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.

I feel like it suffer from an inability to decide who the main villain is.

This could be a boon, sort of a 'just how deep the rabbit hole goes' effect, which I sense is what they were going for, but Batman Begins could have been spread across the movies with more fleshed out story and conflict between him and the villains, and at the end of each, he learns there's someone higher still to pursue.

Failing to capture Falcone at the docks, Batman pursues him for months before finally defeating him and handing him over to the cops. Film 1 ends with the scene where Crane poisons him with fear gas.

Batman learns of Falcone's maddening, and learns of Crane's true identity and his use of Falcone as a pawn. After he's put the Scarecrow away he revels in the idea that he has foiled the plot at last, when Ra's al Ghul shows up at his birthday party and set fire to the manor. Film 2 ends with Bruce Wayne clinging to life after being rescued by Alfred.

Batman destroys the microwave transmitter early on, but fails to capture Ra's. With no leads and nowhere to start looking, he can think of only one course of action. Batman arrives at the rebuilt League of Shadows to challenge Ra's, and he defeats him. Batman refuses to kill Ra's, and a figure steps out from the shadows and kills the demon himself. Bane declares that Batman would have robbed him an honorable death and they fight. Batman is worn out from his duel with Ra's, and Bane breaks his back, throws him in the hole, and returns to Gotham to finish what Ra's started with a newly stolen and more powerful microwave transmitter. Film 3 ends.

Batman recovers and returns to Gotham to stop Bane. Bane reveals that this time they aren't using fear toxin, but a deadly nerve gas, Batman vows to stop him, but before they trade blows, Bane seizes up and falls face first on the floor. Batman looks down and pulls a single razor sharp playing card from his neck. His spinal cord was severed at the medula oblongata. Batman looks up and scans the shadows but finds nothing. A cackle echoes across the sewers. The rest of the film plays out pretty much like The Dark Knight, except Joker's plot revolves around releasing Joker toxin on the city, he goes to Arkham at the end instead of dying, and the shit with Two-Face never happens because it was kind of pointless anyway. The series comes to a close in a post credit scene, where The Killing Joke would begin. Batman comes to see the Joker in Arkham, to confront him about what he said. "I think you and I are destined to do this forever." Batman, fearing he may be right attempts to talk it over, only to discover that this Joker is an impostor (portrayed by Jared Leto). The scene ends. No further sequels are made. You're just left to wonder.

That's exactly what it is, it's literally just Chinatown lite which is why it's so good

BB was a crime noir movie pretty much, and then TDK turned it into a crime superhero movie

When Fox plants the sonar device in Hong Kong and explains it to Bruce, Bruce is like, "Sonar? Just like a..." leading Fox on to say "Bat"

Fox is just like, "Submarine, Mr. Wayne."
