reddit's only problem

if you're like me and you disagree with the human race on everything (but you choose to be honest anyway), you're getting downvoted to fuck hell

and yeah yeah, karma is just meaningless internet points, so who cares right

well guess what, if you have lots of negative karma (which is inescapable if you're someone who tends to go against the grain), the website punishes you by making it so you can only post every ten fucking minutes

sure, you won't get banned, but if you have like twenty different people replying to some controversial or unpopular comment you made, you have no choice but to wait ten minutes to respond to each and every one of those messages, unless you're just a mindless drone who agrees with everybody on everything or is too afraid to actually say something that people will disagree with

this is the only reason the website is kinda shitty and it has nothing to do with whatever reason you think the website is bad

Just go on r/Gaming, make an "EA Bad/Witcher Good" thread and farm karma by the thousands. It doesn't even have to be OC, just repost the most Decimator Omega-like meme you can find.

no, it's not enough. Reddit wants you to stop posting things that will get you downvoted, and post more safer alternatives that will bring you upvotes. If someone who keeps posting downvoted comments is allowed free reign, they'll ignore this principle. If they're restricted because of it they will most definitely consider alternatives.

You can ignore them but you don't win, and if you think you do you're Charlie Zelenoff. Doesn't matter if someone is beneath you. Plenty of fight have been won on flukes or one strong point, and that's all that matters. Verbatim can have 10 phds on topics that he's talking about but if some 90 iq hillbilly makes a good point he can't argue against and win, then verbatim isn't the greatest. Only way you can claim victory is if you do it, not by looking at stats.
