I'm more in line with Verb's dad. There's too much mythology in humanity around death that it seems unlikely that nothing happens when you die. I used to think that it'd be flipping a switch. But the more I thought about it, the more that seemed unlikely. But, before you theists start doing whatever Mexican hat dance your church prescribes, I don't think a single religion has the corner on the truth.
I don't think there's a plan. I don't think there's a single being controlling anything. I do think that there's some form of survival after death. What form that takes and how much will be left of me in that? Only the dead know.
