I was something like that on morning shifts. I'd sleep from about one or two to five am and then after work from like, two to five. Waking up in the afternoon was brutal and always carried a lot of sleep inertia.

that's a funny joke verb, i'm in stitches

Tonight is a bit of an odd night for me, same will go for tomorrow night and all of Wednesday since it's the only morning shift I've had on my schedule in the past three months.


Seriously though, my natural sleep cycle is the number one thing I love. This is just another example of how you can't shoe horn people into a one-size-fits-all process on functioning in society. I hate seeing the sunrise, and I'm naturally up till 1am-3am. It really pisses me off when friends and family are all like "You're weird for not wanting an office job Mon-Fri 8-5". I try to get up at least three hours before any shift start time, why the fuck would I want to get up at 5am when I'm naturally going to bed three hours prior?
