I was talking to a friend the other day about something. Both he and I believe that one should try to find balance in their life concerning technology. A fine line of using the new, and remembering the old. But he said to me one night, that he had doubts about himself. What if he was the outlandish one? Him and I believe that a lot of society is fucked, lost in the throes of technology as it accelerates. Technology is evolving, but the people are not, and they're forgetting the old ways in the process. To me, society is the odd bunch. But back to the point.

Here is what I have to say tonight on this matter.

Anything you've ever done, anything you've ever thought of, has been done before. Not in exactly the same circumstances, but close enough to be called the same. And, the law of the universe dictates that if it's happened once, it will happen again. And that means that out there, are people who have done, lived, died, thought, and lived some aspect of their life related to you.

There are 7 billion people spread across the world. Let that sink in. 7 billion. You can't ever visualize the number, but you know the weight that it carries. With so many people out there, it means that normal doesn't exist. "Normal" as we define it is a set of familiar standards that people tend to group together towards. But in reality, with such great numbers of people out there, who have lived, are alive, and will be born, that every single action we take, think of, and dream up, is repeated due to the simple laws of nature.

So what does this mean?

You aren't as strange as you think.

And most importantly, you are never alone.

Never "don't give a fuck".
Filter things into:
Don't give a fuck
Probably don't give a fuck
Kinda give a fuck
Giving my fuck.
Do this, because if you choose to go with he cool kids' attitudes, then you will die inside. You'll end up not  caring about anything.
