I agree. I'm listening into the test podcast right now and they just spent 3 minutes talking about frozen cream.

frack me.

Topics and news need to be chosen ahead of time so that it doesn't turn stale, which I believe will be the case next time (the topics chosen, not being stale). IDK, it's workable right now but not really all too interesting.

Yeah, this was just a test to make sure audio picked up, pick up voices, and just get used to talking with each other.
Is it available anywhere yet?

Nah, it's not going to be released. Like I said, this is just testing levels and making sure everyone gets picked up before we officially launch the first episode.

Got a release date you're aiming for?

Likely a week or two.

They say you are what you eat, but I don't remember eating mYsELF
I'm still not particularly interested in the whole podcast thing. Seems like the main reasons to listen to one is either because the people participating in it are in a position that is extremely interesting, or because they're very eloquent and well opionated. Unless this ends up taking an unexpected turn, I can't really see myself just listening to a bunch of other forum members just talk about stuff.
Agreed.

Honestly this is how i will go about it.
Every week we have a certain topic or theme to talk about, maybe darkness, space etc. Just flip through the dictionary and stop on any page and choose the first word. Or choose a random wiki page from Random Article Link and make a start a podcast about it.

I've never listened to a podcast.
Ever.

Are they even popular still?
I still see the term pop up frequently, so I guess so. And I've listened to podcasts before, there just needs to be something interesting about them to get me to watch.
What there needs to be is personality. The peeps talking need to be engaging with whatever topic. Shit isn't a news article it's basically a radio show on the internet and it has to be entertaining while it informs you.
That's what I mean, you need people to actually know their shit. You need people who deal with something (semi-)professionally and actually have an uneducated opinion on something. That's the kind of stuff that makes people want to watch. I'm not particularly interested in taking 1-2 hours out of my day to just listen to random people talk about random topics. You need something special.

Was it at least funny?
No. It seemed...dare I say forced?

I don't know, though. Stuff like that would likely be edited out before it was presented, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm getting the unfiltered version of the test podcast.

Are the identities of these poor fools secret?
Or can you reveal who it was?

That was just a question I had been meaning to ask Psy for a while (I was in the UK and saw this "iced cream" shit everywhere that was basically just frozen whipped cream) and figured I may as well ask it there since it was a test that was never supposed to be released.

Later on we moved on to certain subjects that flowed a lot better for us since we had gotten use to speaking to eachother and they were things we were fairly knowledgeable about. For example the Nasuverse and Psy did an analysis on Yuta where we determined that he wanted to fuck his mother.

Where is this test podcast?
Its not being released, it was just so we could get comfortable, see what we should do for the real thing, and for the technical bits of recording.
