Holy shite! Does anyone else ever experience this? There's an enzyme in it called Bromelain that freaking breaks down protein. The pain comes from the Bromelain breaking down your mouth! Literally self harm from eating pineapples, fug me!

Pineapple is okay at best, I agree that raspberries are better. I don't eat pineapple enough to realize this, and if I ever do it's cooked so I wouldn't ever experience the problem anyway.
