Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
I decided to take pics from my recent trip and decided to share them with you guys:

Driving near Lost Hills, CA which is a small town next to a huge oil field and Interstate 5. Lost Hills is a cool town because its a major place in the Fallout universe. This is what you see when you drive there, just big empty fields. I didn't take pictures of the town because there's nothing to see.
Spoiler

Lost Hills is along Highway 46. Highway 46 is infamous for car accidents and deaths that happen all the time. The locals nicknamed it "Blood Alley" because of all the death that happens. James Dean who was a famous actor and racer during the 1950s died on this highway while driving to Salinas, CA for a race. The gas station here has a cutout of him to remember him by. Also if you keep going about 30 miles along 46, it combines with Highway 41. That intersection is named after James Dean.
Spoiler

The wide open road of Highway 46 before you enter the mountains. That mountain is the biggest mountain you see for awhile. On a good day when the air is clean, you can see this mountain from miles away all the way from Bakersfield even.
Spoiler
Spoiler

Passing over which I assume is the San Andreas fault near Cholame, CA. This is by the James Dean Intersection. You can take a road here that will take you to Parkfield, CA which runs right alongside the San Andreas fault and nicknamed "The Earthquake Capital of the World."
Spoiler

Eventually you'll make it to Highway 101, an iconic highway which runs all up along the west coast. These are pics from the Cuesta Pass near San Luis Obispo. The highest driving elevation here is at around 1700ft, but that is nothing compared when driving to Los Angeles where it gets to 4000ft.
Spoiler
Spoiler

In San Luis Obispo all the way towards Morro Bay are special types of mountains. There are 7 of these mountains and they are extinct volcanoes that were active millions of years ago. The mountains are easily recognizable because of their vegetation color and rock formations. The first mountain is right in the middle of San Luis Obispo and the final sits right on the edge of land at Morro Bay. These are probably the coolest looking mountains you will see while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Here are some of them:
Spoiler
Spoiler
This is my favorite mountain because it just looks so intimidating and could be in like some fantasy universe or some shit like that. There is a close up pic and a pic from behind the mountain.
Spoiler

A pic from the campsite. My family has been coming here for years and its a pretty nice place. The people that come here are really friendly and respect your stuff. We've never had anything stolen from us while we've camped here. The campsite is in a perfect spot too weather wise and location wise. The beaches aren't that far, San Luis Obispo is right around the corner in case you need to go to the stores, and the weather here is perfect.
Spoiler

Here is Morro Rock at Morro Bay Beach, right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and the last of the 7 extinct volcanoes. Hundreds of seagulls live on this rock and climbing it is illegal unless you get some sort of special permission from the city. There is also a pic I took while on the beach.

While I was on the beach, there were these 2 girls who were probably a few years older than me walking along the water's edge in their swimsuits. Behind them was a older guy probably in his 50s dressed like a creep and he was stalking them. I was thinking about recording the guy stalking the girls and going over to them and tell them what's going on but I didn't. They walked a fair distance then they came back and told a guy who I presume was their dad about everything. I didn't see that creeper guy again. He disappeared into the fog that was on the beach.

Must have been Camnator scoping out dat booty.
Spoiler

This is the only pic I took while I was at Pismo Beach, about 12 miles south of San Luis Obispo. Its the only picture I have because my phone died on me so I was unable to take more pictures. This was where I spent all day on the 4th of July waiting for the fireworks show. The beach that day was packed as dicks. There were more people here this year than last year. I have never seen so many niggers at the beach in my whole life.
Spoiler

I had a fun time with family and got to enjoy a pretty epic firework show. The weather was fantastic the whole time I was here. Getting away from the 100+ degree weather was amazing.

You need to learn why turning your phone sideways is called "landscape mode"

Because that's how you take pictures of landscapes.
Now do it again, an do it right.

Man, that just all looks barren compared to what I see on interstate trips down the east coast.

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.

Nature is green, you know, plants and shit? It's just a really barren landscape, naturally here you can't move 10m without running into a tree, hedge, bush or patch of grass-so the fact you drove all that way and there was just a total lack of life is a bit jarring.

Fun fact: it's also where the airplane scene was shot in North By Northwest.

How was the night sky?
The first night it was clear and the moon was out and super bright. I didn't even need a flashlight or anything to help me see.

The nights after it was cloudy all the time.

That sucks, I'd imagine some pretty good stargazing on a clear night

Looking up at the night sky is one of my favorite things to do there on a clear night. You can see so many stars and constellations its awesome.
