I haven't gotten a Christmas present since I was 17, but guess what - I still love the season. It's about the atmosphere, the music, the warmth. If you only look forward to December 25th to get the newest electronic, then you don't deserve the holiday.

Completely agree. The only thing I ask for at Christmas is a list of books and some money.

Going to my grandma's house with all the decorations, having a lovely meal with the entire family and then watching the Queen's Speech is what makes Christmas, Christmas. The gift exchange is a nice ceremony, but I don't feel the season would be any worse without it.

Every year for the past three years, on Christmas eve at 11 pm I go to a park near me, it's always decorated really nice. There are usually some people who come around to sing. Everyone is always really friendly, to the point where they'll hug random strangers and wish them a merry Christmas. Everyone usually clears out by 1 on the 25th. I normally stick around until 2 enjoying the silence and cold air.

Well, I don't ask for anything. Actually I do. I don't want anything but I tell everybody to buy me socks so they don't have to go through the puzzle of finding out what to get for somebody who doesn't want anything.

But I can't say that I enjoy christmas for the time of year either. Too many bad christmas's beforehand. And I can't be arsed to be social. Only thing I wanna do is dissappear during Christmas.
