One Thing I hate about my Family...

Is that they think telling someone something when they are half-asleep or completely asleep counts as actually informing them of something. Just because you tell someone something when they are in bed and get a mumbling response does not mean they will remember. This happens to me often.

"What are you doing!? We have to go now! I told you hours ago!"
"What!? When? Where are we going?"
"I told you this morning when you were asleep! Get ready!"

Well no fucking shit, Sherlock. Of course I don't remember because I was asleep. My Eyes were closed and my mind was in a state where I was not capable of comprehending or remembering what you told me. Whatever guttural noise my primal self made acknowledging what you said was made to make you go away so I could go back to sleep; nothing more. Use your fucking brain. If my eyes aren't open for at least 30 seconds, I won't remember whatever the hell you're trying to tell me.

Oh god, my family did this to me all the time. I absolutely hated it.

I eventually just got them to write notes for me to read when I woke up.
