What "old" tech do you still use to this day and why?

previous gen  cell phones don't count.


Me: I still have my collection of old console from  NES up because I want to make a nerd shelf with them and there are still fun party games to play with friends.  I still have a MP3 player for listening to music while at the gym or doing work around my domain.

Sometimes I write things down on a pen and paper instead of in notes app.

Previous gen phones don't count, but my phone is a Samsung S8. That's like 6 generations ago.

Last year I bought a mirrorless camera, but before that my most modern camera I had was from 1982. Even now I use old adapted lenses on the mirrorless, the earliest is from 1964. I also have a few film cameras I use dating from 1958 to the mid 70's.

Are wired headphones 'old tech' now? I have a few pairs I use because Bluetooth drains batteries and I hate the idea of tiny wireless earbuds I can lose or forget to charge.

I watch youtube on my PS4 using a plasma TV I got for free. Y'know the type, a 'flatscreen' that is still using glass as the screen and was 'flat' because it was thinner than the previous Electron-Tube Boxy television sets. The height of technology in 2005...

hmm honestly i dont really use old stuff, i usually have modern stuff

though i guess i wash dishes by hand even though i have an automatic dish washer thingy. does that count lol

       Your Samsung S8 does count.  I was talking more about Iphones.  I still have a few pairs of wired headphones.

2012 was lit! I belong to the 1% who rates Halo 4 > Halo 3.

For me gaming peaked in 2016 with the release of Battlefield 1.

   When I first played H4 I was optimistic.  I agreed with a few changes 343 made but also disliked what they did to others.  I liked certain parts of the story and hated others.  I replayed it recently on MCC with a PC and unfortunately  the port fucked up the lighting but all in all Halo 4 wasn't bad. 

Every once in a while I'll plug in my PS2 and play San Andreas, aka the best version of the game
