Has anyone else noticed this growing trend of these 5 second intro clips that are basically trailers to the actual trailer? It's annoying the fuck out of me.

Also, Blade Runner 2049 trailer I guess.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
They have cyberpunk synths in the start that fit and make the trailer standout, then they ruin it shortly after with the generic LOUD MUSIC THIS IS YOUR QUE TO GET HYPE shit.

Looking forward to it though. It should at least have pleasing visuals and music, love me some cyberpunk synths.

I assumed it was the YouTube channels doing but yeah I hate it. Completely kills any engaging aspects of the beginning of the trailer.

First half of the trailer looks good, second half looks like generic action schlock. Hopefully that's just done up for the trailer for people without the attention span to get through the original Blade Runner.

But really, you can't go wrong with Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve. I can't wait to see this. Hopefully it's so true to the original that I fall asleep halfway through watching it for the first few times.

Whenever I get a commercial I mute the video and look at something else for like five to thirty seconds.

i only care to do this when i get bombarded with those anti-drug PSA scare campaigns, where they shove a closeup of some dude's fucked-up face because he kept chewing tobacco or some stupid shit like that

it's like why me

ads are the reason the internet is free; if i had to, i would watch ten ads before every video i watch just to keep it that way

I wouldn't mind them if they were more consistent and I was guaranteed to know what kind of ad and how long I'd get it before each video. Sometimes I get some two minute long ad that lets me skip it, other times it's thirty seconds and I have to skip the whole thing, and then there's those which are pop ups in the video that let me just close them.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Time spent watching ads can add up quite quick and to quite a waste of time when binging multiple short videos.
Plaster all the empty space on the screen with all the ads you want, but just let me watch my damn shit in peace otherwise pls.
