One more. Why is Perth the nicest city in Australia?

Is it? It's a relatively new city, nice and clean for the most part. Bit of a boomtown. Culturally it's interesting because it's connected to the rest of the world, but it's also isolated, so there's a sorta unique artistic vibe in a way. Plenty of bogans and cashed up miners though.

No reason really. It just always looked the nicest IMO. I always thought Sydney and Melbourne were overrated.

Nope. I've looked at moving to Australia after college and always thought Perth looked the nicest especially considering how expensive Sydney and Melbourne are. So just thought I'd get your opinion on Perth.

We can be pretty expensive too. We have more brits and irish than anywhere else in Oz. Hell, my parents immigrated from Britain. So I feel like our 'aussieness' is a little less ocker than the rest of the continent.

Nice beaches, if you like that. Nice wilderness and wine down south. Heat and death up north.
