THE CUBS DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE WORLD SERIES HERE IN 2015

This is something I find a little unsettling and creepy.

When the Cubs made it to the World Series in 1945, they kicked out a man and his pet goat. The man then said his famous quote and cursed the Cubs when he said "Them Cubs aint gonna win anymore."

Here we are in 2015. The Cubs are playing the Mets and a player on the Mets named Daniel Murphy is tearing it up against the Cubs. He was the reason why the Mets won yesterday and they're up 3-0 right now thanks to Daniel Murphy.

Murphy was the name of the goat that was kicked out of the game in 1945.

This can't be a coincidence. It just can't be.

They were good from the early 2000s up until 2007. Then they traded away all their good players and some retired, leaving them with nothing but young and inexperienced players up until this season.

One of my favorite players is David Wright and he's been the face of the Mets since 2004. He's a classy guy and respects the game and deserves a World Series ring.

Tblocks, I know you're hurting right now and I know that feel but the Blue Jays had an amazing run this year. They never gave up but sadly the Royals were the better team.

I agree. The Jays gave me some of the best memories I've ever had and they had a fantastic season.

As for the World Series, Let's Go Mets!

The Royals are champions of baseball for the first time in 30 years. The Royals would just not give up. They kept fighting and fighting their whole playoff run. That team right there has a fire in it that can't be extinguished and its awesome. I wish the Dodgers played their heart out like the Royals do.

I'm happy that for finally for once a new team wins the World Series. I'm sick and tired of seeing the Giants and Cardinals there every other year. Its fucking annoying.

Anyways this was a wild and exciting postseason for every team involved. There are moments that happened that will be talked about for many years to come. Will these same teams make it back next year? Who knows... who knows.

Now I go back into the darkness that is the offseason. March 2016 can't be here soon enough.
