that trailer seemed like a whole lot of nothing, but that's just how i like them

I feel like at this point they know what theyre doing, making us excited but not giving an inch, every reason to spend dosh on that over priced movie ticket.

Not like video game trailers, give the whole fucking game away please.

I haven't seen Captain Marvel, and it feels like a much more missable film now than when it was first announced untold eons ago, but in general I'm pretty excited for this film.

Infinity War was a really pleasant surprise, and it's pretty seldom I walk into a theatre to watch something that I know is just a guilty pleasure (the reason I've seen every DCEU film except Wonder Woman in theatres), and end up really liking the film from a technical and storytelling perspective (something that hasn't happened with any DC film I've seen).

I really hope they haven't flipped the script on us, and got everyone to forget about our fears of how bloated a project like this can turn out, only to release something that doesn't end up feeling satisfying, substantial, or interesting enough to warrant the crown jewel position in the capeshit era.

From what they've shown us, I'm pretty optimistic about the product, and I really enjoyed seeing them lean pretty heavily on much older footage in this trailer, since it really gives you a great idea of the atmosphere of the film without showing us too much of what will actually occur.

Even if you somehow missed Infinity War, or the whole MCU for that matter, by watching this trailer you should be able to get acquainted with the stakes, both emotional and literal, and I think it will be really hard for the film to follow up on that. In essence, I'm saying I think watching this trailer before the film will actually enhance the viewing experience for less acquainted moviegoers, which is everything a trailer really should do.

Endgame is still a pretty easy project to mess up though, considering the rumored scale and ambition of the project, so I'm not placing any bets on just how memorable it will be, but I'm cautiously optimistic that it will serve as a nice stepping off point for the more established members of the franchise, and for the first time since 2012, I'm genuinely pretty excited to see The Avengers save the world. Good marketing material like this only serves to get viewers more connected with that story, no matter how it ends up playing out.

I appreciate you took the time but its all examples of what i dont like

I really just want Ironman to be the one to land the final blow and end the villain, whether or not he ends up sacrificing himself in the process. He and Doctor Strange are definitely my favorites of all the heros as they're just regular humans who managed to attain power through their own respective means and hold their own against a superior being like Thanos with the gauntlet.

At the very least, I'm going to be extremely disappointed if Captain Marvel just swoops in and saves the day entirely since she's supposed to be the strongest now. I don't expect that would happen, so hopefully I'm right.

Underwhelmed honestly...some moments would have been more impactful had they not been officially spoiled.

It was a fun game, but it was very Jarring how separated the story was from 90% of the game. Plus, I dont think that many years would have ever satisfied the hype.
