Me personally, I'd go for something bigger.  But maybe with slightly different colors, unless that's what you like.

Most tarantulas that are that size and bigger are pretty aggressive, so the white knee is as big as you can go without having something that will sink their fangs into you because you looked at them wrong.

It's all about body language, tarantulas are pretty easy to read, the majority of the time the docile species wont bite without warning.
