The Galaxy A71, Xiaomi Mi 9T, and Xperia 1O II look pretty good

The one Cheat suggested is actually free with a 2-year plan. My mom is talking about getting an iPhone 11, which has a buy-one-get-one deal going on. I was also contemplating switching to android but I've never had one and I know everyone I'm in group chats with will bitch.

I still have an iPhone 6s right now, so likely anything on the market would be an improvement.

iPhones are easy to use but Im pretty ready to switch to Android
Only thing I'll miss is iMessage and the elite blue texts but I can probably still hang on to my iPhone for that

you can trade in your old iphone and get into the price range you're looking to spend

I used the iPhone 11 for a few months and really enjoyed the hardware, but ended up trading out of the ecosystem because iOS and Apple support really pissed me off. Top tier piece of tech tho.

Other than that, I like the Stylo 6, though that's a bit below your budget, I've had several of LG's "Budget Notes" and they do everything I want them to do, plus the 6 comes with a triple camera array

What do you use your phone for? I’m primarily an Apple dude (Mac iPhone AirPods etc) and enjoy the simplicity of it. An iPhone SE or an iPhone 11 are both high quality phones that are more affordable than their high end counterparts ($700 for an 11)

Not a huge fan of the galaxy A series, usually see them most used amongst Older people or children but they get most of everything You need done and have a great price tag

Apple is coming out with more affordable phones for their next gen series, multiple different models might want to wait for an announcement see if it interests you

I use my phone mostly for media consumption especially on the bus between classes so a really nice screen with high brightness is needed. I quite clumsy so waterproof/dustproof would be nice. And I don't like updating so it needs to last a while. Don't really need high quality camera or gaming capabilities.

It's been a while since I've looked into new phones and a thing I'm noticing with reviewers now is they all do gaming performance. It's kind of funny that mobile gaming is a legit concern for phone companies now. But a strong CPU would be nice since it'll keep the phone running smooth for a while. My iPhone 7 is getting really sluggish

Moved from my Nokia Lumia to Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. It's good value. Look at specs and see which phone offers you the most for the least. inferiorPhone is definitely poor value for what you get. Think of it as the Alienware of phones.
