Do you consider NASCAR as racing?


I am big into car racing. I watch a lot of Rally car racing, F1 and some of the European GT2 and GT1.   One of my co-workers is a big NASCAR fan and he trying to get me to watch more the of the races. I've watch 4 races and seen 24 guys driving around left handed turns for 200 laps and piking when to changes tires and fuel REALLY.  I am sorry but proper racing.

Were every second count. Must have perfect control in every LEFT and RIGHT CORNER. 

NASCAR has the most passing action of any motorsport.
The distance (barring endurance LeMans races) and sustained speeds don't happen anywhere else, nor do guys running laps three wide around the track.
Don't even say it happens in Indycar either, cause you've got half the cars and everyone's so spread out because there's nowhere near the level of homogenization as in NASCAR.

NASCAR is the best motorsport to watch in person imho because you can see the whole track from where you sit, which means you can every single car all the time

its no where near as cool as rally cross racing but it's just as good when it comes to being able actually see the race when you're there in person

also car crashes are pretty cool

boring to me. Yeah you only get a quick glimpse in F1 or Rally but man da Technic
