Because the student union wants everyone to be properly inducted into the social student life.

It's all voluntary, but I'm planning on participating all days.

I mean, to be fair, mine would have been a little bit longer if I chose to stay in the dorms

but that's a long-ass time

This reminded me that I need to start to study my calculus notes and start packing.

Mine was a mandatory weekend that you went to a month before school started.

Why is your orientation so long? Mine was like a day. Although I did do a little camp thing when I started college to ease the transition which lasted a week. But orientation shouldn't be that long, there's classes and shit to focus on.

Well, as I said, it is voluntary. We were split into teams and half of our team didn't show up on the second day, apparently it's common for the number of participants to wary from day to day.

It's been fun so far, and as I'm kind of socially anxious it really helps to have activities like this, and that's why I plan to participate all days.

If the studies escalate into full speed quickly I might reconsider that, though.
