So you know how there are many popular myths that people believe in. Things like the left brain is analytical and the right is creative. Or how you use 10% of your brain.

So a good question for self reflection is what myth did you believe for the longest and did it have any impact on how you viewed yourself or others? Even if negligible at best.

Why didn't you do any tours in Iraq or Afghanistan?
my unit hasn't deployed since  an '08-'09  tour and the 2013 tour another unit was pulling numbers from us for had no lower enlisted slots for my job open.
